McDermitt-Humboldt Internet Provider (M-HIP)- A non-profit company owned and operated by McDermitt High School students. We have two goals:
1. To provide meaningful entrepreneurial learning experiences for students.
2. To provide cost effective Internet services to residents of Humboldt County previously excluded from having access to the net.

CUSTOMER SERVICE
We sincerely hope to provide professional service to all our customers. The primary service we provide centers around the actual hookup of your hardware to the NET.
Service we can provide includes:
· Sending software that will enable customers to install the system.
· Talking customers through the installation process.
· Giving advice concerning the hardware capacities necessary to achieve adequate internet service.

Service we can not provide includes:
· Assisting with the installation of out-of-date or inadequate equipment. We are not equipped to make old, under-powered equipment perform like new.
· We will not offer service if the equipment does not have the following minimal specifications:
            1. Pentium  processor; 128Mb of RAM; Windows 98, ME, 2000, or XP. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO
ANY PERSON FOR ANY REASON.
